Boosting Confidence

Confidence is something that you need to be able to speak with other people easily and to work smoothly on your career or job. There are times that you are quiet feeling down because you, yourself are having doubts whether what you will do will be good or bad. Self-esteem is something that not all of us are blessed upon with. Sometimes, we really need to boost it but don't know where to start. For this time, I will give out 10 points on how I boost my confidence.

1. )Surround yourself with positive, supportive people.

Who you are accompanying will affect how you view about the world. There are sometimes company that will hold you back. There are also other people that will degrade you in some way. To boost your confidence, surround yourself with people that are always ready to support you and help you in times that you are having a hard time.

2.) Do not let other people dictate who you are.

You control your own life. Do not be blinded by what other people speak of you. You know better of what you can do and what are your capabilities. Don't let yourself be downgraded by the people that are just using words to feel you down. You are you, it is not bad to be unique.

3.) Stop comparing.

I never even compared myself to others that is why I am proud of what I am. There is no sense in comparing myself with others when my experiences, opportunities and lives are completely different from one another. it will just waver your spirit and make you stagnant and no development will occur.

4.) Live your dreams.

A goal will help you keep in tract on what you want. take actions and exert effort in making your goal finished. Starting a car engine and not making it move even an inch is a waste of gas. It is the same with achieving your dreams.

5.) Smile more often

This is one of the benefits of smiling. It helps you to boost your confidence in some way or another. Not only will you feel better but the people around you will notice and give you a more positive response. It really helps especially if you are quiet nervous on delivering your first speech or report. Try it.

6.) Humor is essential to everyday life.

We all make mistakes and need time to take a deep breath from the world we live in. Humor is a wonderful way to relieve stress and get you smiling.Take a quick break and relax a little. You don't need to be serious at all times.

7.) Try new things or take risks.

Stepping out of your comfort zone can be taxing on your part and needs confidence but after getting out and experiencing both failure and success, then you can broaden your horizon and comfort zone. This may introduce you to new things and discover a lot more. Then at one moment that you will look back, you'll be surprised and be proud of yourself

8.) Asses you Daily Actions before retiring for the Day.

This point helps me a lot to know what I have done, learned and experienced for the duration of my waking hours. Learning how I found a solution to the problem makes me a better person little by little. A little review before sleeping will help you for your examinations tomorrow.

9.) Be true to Yourself.

People have the habit of denying first who they really are and making things complicated. Do not make things hard for you and start accepting who you are and don't forget to be positive in all aspects of you. You are unique and the only one in the world. Give constructive criticism for yourself. A tiny bit of negativity bears heavier burden than what you think.

10.) Help Others.

Try doing it, it makes you feel good after helping out other people cross the hardships they are taking.

With these 10 points in check, for sure, you can have a great day when you know that you are able to talk to people with ease, made friends in a single conversation and you feel good every time you wake up. Try it and tell me how it goes. :D
