"We need Education"
~ Maou ~

On the second Episode of the anime, the characters start of their plan to bring out peace and to start with war. their plan is to increase the food production so that their people will not starve and will not depend on the war for money or livelihood. The episode also introduces one of the most important factors that run a country, that is education.

Lesson 1

If it were already flourishing, who'd listen yo us?
~ Maou ~

I remember a saying in training and development on this conversation, "you cannot train or teach someone who already has a full cup." It is true, you can't expect a person to listen to you if he already made his thought and heart full. It is better to teach someone who still have huge space on his mind. You can tell him what is wrong and what is right. You can direct him to a better road.

Lesson 2

I'd like to increase that to a four-stage crop rotation
~ Maou ~

In the scene, Maou plans to change the system of the local farmers from three-stage crop rotation into four-crop rotation to increase food production and also not to deplete the nutrients from the soil.

Crop rotation is the practice of growing a series of dissimilar/different types of crops in the same area in sequential seasons. Crop rotation confers various benefits to the soil. A traditional element of crop rotation is the replenishment of nitrogen through the use of green manure in sequence with cereals and other crops. Crop rotation also mitigates the build-up of pathogens and pests that often occurs when one species is continuously cropped, and can also improve soil structure and fertility by alternating deep-rooted and shallow-rooted plants. Crop rotation is one component of polyculture.

Though this only apply to countries that have different seasons, this could really help on how to increase food production. The plan of the protagonists in the story is, while the land that is not being used will be pasture ground of different animals as this helps to revitalize the land's nutrients.

Lesson 3

The most important thing we can do is eliminating famine.
~ Maou ~

If only people would exert more effort on eliminating famine or hunger on every side of the country. Then maybe all of us are not having problem about the nutrients we are going to take. Though, no matter what, I know that they are putting up an effort to do so.

Solving how to produce and conserve food has always been a problem to some country. But I put this on the article just to remind us how important food is to everyone of us so that we are able to strive to increase our production output and to decrease our consumption about it.

Lesson 4

We need Education
~ Maou ~

Perhaps the most important factor that everyone should have and would have and will have. Education is the art of instructing another person in things of importance. Knowledge is a very crucial thing a person should have that affects the very presence and living condition of a person.

There are a number of modes on how to educate someone. It is better to stress yourself while learning rather than making your life easy without gaining any knowledge. The country should expand more and lower the education service in the said sector to increase the people who are knowledgeable on different profession so that it could increase the country's capacity to function effectively on the economic sector.

Lesson 5

One incapable of determining their own fate is an insect.
~ Chief Maid ~

The statement itself might be a little cold and harsh but it is the current reality on the view of someone now. Living only by instinct and not relying on a goal that one normally set to himself is not good enough.we must be able to know what our life should look like. We must determine what we want for our lives. We should be at least know what our fate looks like in the future.

And that all there is on the episode two of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. Episode two in short tells that we need education to live, to innovate things to make life better, and to know what your goal is in life. This is more into realization rather than a lesson but it could also be a lesson and a reminder for all of us. What about you?  What did you learn from the lines of the each character?
