Synchronicity: Trilogy of Twins

After three years of waiting, the trilogy has ended and the story takes it's full course and shows how it ended. Entitles Synchronicity, made by Hitoshizuku-P and illustrated by Suzunosuke, the story was written by Kumagai and actually this one is more complex and detailed than the song shows. Using the Vocaloid system the Kagamine Twins named Rin and Len as the lead characters, Vocaloid brings us another heart warming story using in a mode of song.

We all know how epic is the medieval period right? How a knight will save a princess or a bad people will abduct a loved one and the hero will save that person. Very much the same with the story I am about to feature, Synchronicity takes place in the medieval period. The story tells of two twins who were separated shortly after they were born. The reason was that one of them (Rin), was chosen to be the next Diva, and her destiny is to sing for eternity to keep an ancient Dragon in its slumber. After Rin's brother (Len) was old enough, he began searching for his sister, to free her from her fate of being a Diva.

To start off let me  show you the videos.

~Synchronicity Chapter 1~ 君を捜す空 / ~Synchronicity~ Kimi wo Sagasu Sora (The Sky Where I Look for You )

In the beginning of the video, Miku was shown there, followed by Teto (the previous Diva), who was killed by the dragon. Then, Rin was taken away from Len, and years afterwards, Len started his journey on searching for his twin sister Rin who was chosen to be a Diva; a singer who sings to a dragon so that it may bless the country.
The only way for a Diva to escape her role is to either be killed by the dragon or for another Diva to replace her. This is part one of the planned three songs of the Synchronicity series.
Along the way, the other characters (Vocaloid) could be seen there.

~Synchronicity Chapter 2~ 光と影の楽園 / ~Synchronicity~ Hikari to Kage no Rakuen (Paradise of Light and Shadow)

This is the second part of the Synchronicity series. In this, Len infiltrates the castle and tries to go for Luka, who is a pythoness of the empire, to find Rin. There Meiko, who was nobly born and became a fencer of the empire, attacks Len. However, when she was fighting with Len, he reminds her of her old friend Teto, who sacrificed herself for Meiko and decided to become a Diva, and so after Meiko goes in with him to save his sister.
Len, Meiko, Gakupo and Kaito join together and they go to where the dragon lies and confronts Miku, the Dragon's guardian, who is convinced that she is a girl by a magical mask forced on her face by the church members (however, Len destroys this mask, which presumably restores her memories). The ending of the PV shows Len jumping off a ledge towards the distant figure of Rin, hand reaching for her, with happy tears in his eyes, leaving us with a literal cliff hanger.

~Synchronicity Chapter 3~ 巡る世界のレクイエム / Meguru Sekai no Requiem (Requiem of the Spinning World)

Now, I'll leave the story of the ending to you on what you think.Everyone has its own opinion. Most listeners aren't super critical, since it is made by a group of people they can probably emphasis with and understand if they are putting in hard work.  For me, the first few minutes of the song is a recap of what happened on the first 2 chapters, especially on the scene on where Len getting beaten by Miku and then when Len freed Miku from the control, he jumps out reaching out for Rin. Then it shows how they look like from infancy to the present. Now we see Rin lying on the ground with blood coming out of her mouth, but she gets up and starts singing again for the dragon (leading into AMAZING animation) then she falls down again.

So the second half of the video begins with the creepy Miku laugh and then we see Len holding Rin's body, crying. Miku I guess uses magic and brings her back to life. Rin reaches out to Len and he hugs her. The two then use their powers of light and dark and kill themselves and the dragon. Well, sacrificing their lives or not somehow is a happy ending for both of them because they are finally together.

Another great story using The Kagamine Twins of the Vocaloid. Epic is what I can describe the story in a single word. This is a good story because it is in a current trend where people who loved reading a story of love and sacrifice and a little tragedy would loved. Same goes for the people who love playing RPG games. A heart rending and bittersweet story that ends either sad or happy.

Before I end, I found this on youtube and would like to share to you. Kudos to the one playing this. :D
