Aimless Imitation Musical Chairs is the fourth Song of the cycle of Bookmark of Demise which is a story and at the same time a song made by 150P, on which sung by IA.The story is about a girl named D-ne who badly wanted an item called “The Monkey’s Paw” on which it can grant you three to five wishes on a twisted way as a price. D-ne wanted to become like B-ko from “Impostor Advisory”. Now, she becomes the doppelganger of B-ko since she became an imitation and has to remove the original because if not, she will pay the price. This now comes the “Chair Stealing” game. And D-ne wins and at the same time becomes B-ko from “Impostor Advisory”
Here is some observation about the song:
- She finally had the item, the monkey’s paw.
- B-ko seems famous or popular in their school and in the neighboring are that D-ne is jealous of her.
- If you watched the video attentively, You can see a ribbon on D-ne on which it is on the reflective side of B-ko.
- Some says that D-ne disappeared after all of the five wishes have been granted, some says nothing happened to her. No one knows. But I prefer if she disappeared as to complete the story that I know.
Now this is the last of the story of the cycle and this introduces to another urban legend that is quiet famous too at some time. See how can jealousy can turn out right?
Every time I hear or read about a monkey’s paw, it reminded me of the first anime that introduced me to the urban legend, xxxHolic on its manga, Chapter 018 and in anime Episode 08. Then I would really prefer a Genie who can only grant three wishes with rules rather than five wishes without rule but have to collect a fee, for twisting up fate itself
