Info Post

Introverts are often labeled as "anti-social" or sometimes people who are too quiet that are commonly misunderstood by people. They say that most of introverts are just being shy but the truth is, they find it uncomfortable with many people. Since the world we are in prefers the culture of noise and constant conversation, introverts find it hard to deal with the world.

I was contemplating over myself whether I was really an introvert or just having a personality confusion or maybe somewhere in between in being an introvert and an extrovert. Being a leader in an organization, they need someone who is outspoken or can convey their opinion well. But it is hard to me in some way. Is it a problem or not? What are the strengths an introvert can use to keep up with the society?

With the help of an introvert community on Google+, I read different articles and opinion on how great being an introvert is and how I could continue as a leader just being myself. I found on the internet about the Ten advantages of being an introvert and I am to explain a little based on my understanding.

1) Studious and Smart

Since most introvert would like to read more and concentrate on something that is easy for them like reading different articles or doing some creative stuff, their broad minds grow faster than the normal. Studying is one of the most preferred activity an introvert person would do since it is quiet and thoughtful.

2) Analytically Skilled That Integrate Complexity

Dwelling to much on thoughts and being observant and analyzes things before doing something, most of them has the ability to perceive what could happen, and able to solve problems rather quickly. They can also be independent when making a decision. Weighing the positive and negative results are on of their techniques on how to choose and decide what to do.

3) Creative, Out-of-the-Box thinking

Introverts are deep thinkers that they tend to dig deeper than what should be dug out to find for something. Since they can think out of the box, they have the creativity to put into use and to express it more whether on artworks or on writing.

4) Responsible

Since they don't have too many things to work with, they can be reliable in different aspects like on decision making and finishing things up when they are given a task or two. In work, they have the habit to finish the work they are given so that they can have the time to do things they want unlike to some extroverts, they prefer socializing while working. But I am not saying an extrovert can delay up things on work.

5) Self-Reflective

Again, since they have the habit of just thinking and placing themselves of deep thoughts, they sometimes do self-reflection activities or thinking. This is an advantage because they can actually see themselves and can have the time to change themselves for the better.

6) Strong Ability To Concentrate

The mind is where an introvert stays too much that they can have the skill to concentrate a single thought without disturbance. Even if the place is too noisy, they can find their inner peace just by focusing on a single thought. But this does not apply to everyone.

7) Independent

Introverts don't have the habit to look on others before making a decision. Instead, they come up with weighing what is what and how is how like the pros and cons of that something. But, as being too independent decisions they made can sometimes be non-collaborative.

8) Flexible

An introvert being flexible with how they view their selves and always keeping an open mind is important for creating happiness s in whichever stage they are in. They sometimes can accept reality faster than others, or they can comprehend or understand what is currently happening. By using their flexibility thay can also sometimes bring happiness to others rather than being fun to be with but are not prepared to be flexible.

9) Maintain Long-Term Friendships

Introverts devote their social energy to the people they care about most, and would just like to talk to someone they really knew rather meeting with different strangers. They are not just being an anti-social, they just sometimes feel that they have to be cautious. For this, Introverts really value the friendships they have with the people they really knew about and have a history with them.

10) Work Well With Others, Especially In One-to-One Relationships

Obviously, introverts does not feel comfortable in large crowds and can sometimes be felt like invisible. But their strong point is, they can make a good conversation in a one on one communication. In an activity where they can have a partner, they can be reliable, if not all, on most part.

Well, being an introvert isn't bad. In fact, they can be as almost as good as extroverts in their own way. I am an introvert and I am proud of it. Are you?
