“The time is out of joint: O cursed spite, that ever I was born to set it right!”

Blast of Tempest or commonly knwon as Zetsuen no Tempest is a Japanese manga series written by Kyō Shirodaira and illustrated by Arihide Sano and Ren Saizaki. The story revolves around Mahiro Fuwa, a teenager whose family was mysteriously murdered one year before, and his friend Yoshino Takigawa. Mahiro is contacted by Hakaze Kusaribe, the leader of the Kusaribe clan who was left stranded on an unknown deserted island by her followers, and agrees to help Hakaze in exchange for her help to find out the culprit for the death of his family. Upon learning of his friend's intentions, Yoshino joins him on his quest to stand against the Kusaribe clan who intends to awaken the "Tree of Zetsuen" whose power can bring ruin to the entire world. Several dialogues and plot elements in Zetsuen no Tempest pay homage to the works of William Shakespeare.
When it comes to watching new anime, I am dead set to learn every angle of the story. This is a must for a good review. But this time, I'll not be reviewing but instead, I'm going to recommend new anime for the year 2012.

Straight forward, too much revelation, action packed and mystery filled anime, "Zetsuen no Tempest" might not necessarily break any new ground, but it’s definitely something worth watching. There are some great dynamics between the mains, intriguing commentary about fate and the influence of those that have passed on, and superb animation by Bones.

With a lots of twist and revelations of each and every character, there will times that you want to watch more but the episode is finished and it will be a week before you can watch a new episode again.

My say is, if you are going to watch this, you have a good taste. Watching this kind of anime requires all your attention for you to absorb the lesson or the story better. Describing this anime in one word, it would be "interesting". Why? Watch it and you'll see. :D
